At JP Cycle Services, all of our cycle coaches hold at least one recognised qualification, including British Cycling Level 2 Coach, Bikeability Instructor and National Standards Instructor.
Our coaches are enhanced DBS checked and fully insured, with many years of cycle coaching experience with children and adults. Some coaches have experience of working with SEN children in an educational setting.
We offer cycle training to the general public, local authorities, other public sector bodies, commercial organisations and community groups, mainly in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. All our training can be tailored to specific requirements if our pre-organised Junior Pedallers courses do not meet your needs. Contact Us to find out more. We offer a friendly, personal service with competitively priced training. We can create a training session to suit everyone, regardless of age or ability.
Learning To Cycle On The Road
The Government's National Standards for Cycle Training underpin all our Junior Pedallers courses, which are designed with the same outcomes for children as the three Bikeability levels and are ideal for children who have missed Bikeability at school or who want to build their confidence in a smaller group than at school.
The Bikeability syllabus also follows these National Standards, with Bikeability being the brand name of the programme used to deliver this training to children in schools.
Developing Cycling Skills
Our skills coaching sessions are designed for children of varying ages and ability and are also tailored to focus on the development of specific skills,
Coaching sessions can be in the form of one-off lessons, ad-hoc "Pop-Up" sessions and courses over several weeks that build up a child's confidence and skill to achieve specific outcomes.
