Children's Bikes
If you've read our article on how to choose a suitable bike for a child, you will know that we always recommend buying the lightest aluminium frame that your budget can afford. Remember, you don't always need to buy a brand new bike, there are many sources of second hand bikes which will allow your budget to stretch further or even bike rental options.

For our coaching sessions, we have a fleet of training bikes that we use - these are not only loved by us, but also the many children we've had in our lessons that have used them to gain their pedalling super powers! We considered the well known brands such as Frog, Isla Bikes and Squish, but our final choice was made based on:
-
Price - value for money (especially when compared to the popular, but heavier bikes from a well known national chain) and there are sometimes online offers on these bikes, making them even better value for money!
-
Weight - one of the lightest children's bikes on the market
-
Reviews - consistently highly rated
-
Availability - in store or online at Blacks and Go Outdoors

We have not been disappointed and this is why we recommend the WILD BIKES range, available from Blacks and Go Outdoors.
